HAYS, JOHN

17 Feb 1933; p. 2, col. 2:  John Hays, 78, died 10 February in
Hammond.  Funeral was Sunday; interment in Greenlawn Cemetery,
Hammond.  A native of East Feliciana parish; lived most of his
life there.  Survived by widow, the former Miss Mary Florence
Chaney, a native of East Feliciana parish; five daughters, Mrs.
O. H. Radau, Mrs. Wm. Schnell, Mr. John Crews of Port Arthur, TX
and Mrs. Albert Tolle of Hammond; five sons, X. D. Hays, Jack
Hays, Emmett Hays, Everett Hays and Bob Hays of Port Arthur, TX.
