She was born in Independence, daughter of the late Tony and Carmella Ribando Macaluso, and wife of the late William J. Heins. She is also preceded in death by 3 sister, Rose M. Zimmer, Lena M. Barcia, Josie M. O'Dell, and 2 brothers, Philip and Joe Macaluso. Mrs. Heins is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 10 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. Funeral Home Chapel Service, conducted by Rev.
