CECIL, JR. A resident of Denham Springs, he died at 10:22 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary. He was 76 and a native of Okmulgee, Okla. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Howard Turner. Interment with military honors at Port Hudson National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Friday. Survived by eight children and their spouses, Larry, who is serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq, and Martha Hendrickson and Barbara Hamm, all of Oklahoma City, Sammie Wall, Indiana, David and Sue Hendrickson, Kentwood, Randy and Darlene Hendrickson, Denham Springs, Amanda Hendrickson, Kentwood, Abbi and John Soileau, Baton Rouge, and Wendy Hendrickson, Kentwood; 20 grandchildren, Eric, Gary, Laura and Kelly Hendrickson, Christine Foley, Amber Harp and Jayme Carrier, all of Oklahoma City, Chris Wall, New Mexico, Lea Hendrickson, Baton Rouge, Brock Hendrickson, Lafayette, Chase Baker and Lacy Gibbs, both of Denham Springs, Cody Sterling, Magnolia, Miss., Shane Sterling, Kentwood, Allison Soileau and Eric Soileau, both Baton Rouge, Mitch Ham, Liberty, Miss., Jessica Campbell, Denham Springs, and Katie and Laura Ballard, both of Kentwood; nine great-grandchildren, Kaden Hendrickson, Ky and Cobe Foley, Brianna Hendrickson, Charlie Sterling, Tanner and James Ham and Christopher and Gracie Campbell; and two sisters, Eva Helm, Dallas, and Virginia Quinn, Pasadena, Texas.
