Funeral services for Robert A. Herr, 18, who drowned last Sunday in the Tangipahoa River east of Independence, will be held this Thursday from the Ward Line Church of God. Interment will be in New Beulah Cemetery at Baptist. The Thomas Funeral Home is in charge. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Viola Mosher Herr of rural Hammond; five sisters, Pauline and Betty Herr of Hammond, Mrs. Priscilla Lepiniske of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Faye Mutart of Pocatello, Idaho, and Mrs. June Scott; three brothers, Richard and Floyd Herr of Hammond and William Frank Herr of Applegate, Mich. His father, Frank Herr, preceded him in death last December 4.
