HERR, FRANK
Funeral services for Frank Herr, 57, who died Monday in Independence were
held Thursday, December 7, at Baptist.  Interment was in the cemetery at
Baptist.  He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Miss Betty Lou Herr
of Hammond, Mrs. Pauline Gilliland of Kentwood, Mrs.Priscilla Lepinski of
Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Fay Mutart of Bowie, Tex. and Mrs. June Gurpog of
Michigan; four sons, William F. of Applegate, Mich., and Robert, Richard
and Floyd Herr, all of Hammond; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Repynski of
Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. Carrie Gordon and Mrs. Leon Dimitroff of Pontiac,
Mich.; one brother, George Herr of Pontiac, Mich.

HERR, ROBERT A.
Funeral services for Robert A. Herr, 18, who drowned last Sunday in the
Tangipahoa River east of Independence, will be held this Thursday from the
Ward Line Church of God.  Interment will be in New Beulah Cemetery at
Baptist.  The Thomas Funeral Home is in charge.  He is survived by his
mother, Mrs. Viola Mosher Herr of rural Hammond; five sisters, Pauline and
Betty Herr of Hammond, Mrs. Priscilla Lepiniske of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs.
Faye Mutart of Pocatello, Idaho, and Mrs. June Scott; three brothers,
Richard and Floyd Herr of Hammond and William Frank Herr of Applegate,
Mich.  His father, Frank Herr, preceded him in death last December 4.  Herr
had resided in Hammond the past seven years and was a member of the Ward
Line Church of God.
