HERRIN, MARIE ANN BETTS
Marie Ann Betts Herrin, 65, passed away at her home in Hammond on June 9th.
Her memories will always be alive in her husband, Bernard Herrin, Jr., her 
children; Florence Elena Barnes, Hammond, LA; Bernard (Daniella) Betts; 
Roseland, LA, and Jeffery Barnes, Minneapolis, MN; siblings Osa (Raay) 
Williams, George (Regina) Betts, Brenda Betts (late Clarence Betts) Otis 
Betts, Jr., Hammond, LA, Pearl (Carnell) Love, Champaign, IL, Valerie 
Selders, Baton Rouge, LA; Robert (Mildred) Pressley, Jr. godchildren, 
Lavern Richardson and Michelle Womack; ten grandchildren, five great 
grandchildren; adopted sisters Margaret Brown, Barbara Walker, and Audrey 
Donelson; and many relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her 
parents Otis, Sr. and Mary Betts; one daughter, Donna Lyvette Herrin, 
brother, Clarence Betts and many special relatives.  Visitation will take 
place today from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Greenfield Baptist Church where 
Rev. Jerry Hanible will conduct Funeral Services on Wednesday at 11 a.m. 
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.  N A James Funeral Home in
