She was a native of Denham Springs, a retired school bus driver with the Livingston Parish School Board, a member of Holden Baptist Church, an Eastern Star and served on the Livingston Parish Library Board. She is survived by three daughters, Ava Stevens, Mary Trawick and Paula Green; two sons, Austin and Michael Higginbotham; one brother, Allen B. Comish of Macon, Ga.; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grand- children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Austin Higginbotham Sr.; her parents, Henry T. and Lucy Tucker Comish; seven brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be today at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston, from 4 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the Rev. Jeff Hathorn conducts the funeral at 11.
