She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 231. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. Monday, March 28, until memorial service at 7 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Ruth Shumack. She is survived by her husband, Walter Highbaugh, Denham Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Lindsey and Gordon Boswell III, Hammond; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen Monroe and Vicki Lindsey, Houma, and Michael Ray Lindsey, Cape Canaveral, Fla.; four grandchildren, Bridget Lindsey Reyes, Mill Valley, Calif., Fara Allen Spring and Brett Lindsey Boswell, both of Hammond, and Stephen Monroe Lindsey II, Baton Rouge; great-granddaughter, Anna René Musser, Hammond; two sisters, Vivian Womack and Estelle Bond, both of Greensburg; and friends, Sue Dickerson, Gettysburg, Pa., and C.J. Williams, Newport Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Hayden Singleton and Lena Morgan Singleton, Greensburg; two sisters, Leota Hornsby and Lora Lindsey, both of Greensburg; and a brother, Monroe Singleton, Pecan Gap, Texas. ***************************************************************************
