A native of Velma, she is survived by two sons, Earl B. Grimes Jr. of Baton Rouge, and Theodore Grimes of Panama City, Fla.; two daughters, Shirley Bridges and Jeannette Jones, both of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild. Her parents, Rafe and Samela Roberts; and one sister, Virginia Johnson, preceded her in death. Visitation will be Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Big Zion Cemetery, Roseland, conducted by the Rev. Melvin Mabry. Burial will be in Big Zion Cemetery, Roseland. Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, is in charge. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in the Hammond Daily Star on: 10/16/2008 HILLS, AUDREY LOUISE Audrey Louise Hills, 70, a native and resident of Ponchatoula, La., died Oct. 12, 2008, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, La. Visitation will be held at Star Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Ponchatoula, La., from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2008. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at the church. The Rev. Gerald Cheatham will conduct the service. Interment will follow at Holly Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Debra Hills Bolden of Ponchatoula, La.; two sons, Charles Hills of Houston, Texas, and Ronald Hills of Hammond, La.; two sisters, Shirley Pitts of Thibodeaux, La., and Lillian Malbrough of Ponchatoula, La.; one brother, Albert Malbrough of Ponchatoula, La.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mildred Malbrough; husband, Milton Hills Sr.; son, Milton Hills Jr.; three brothers, L.C., Lawrence and Herman Malbrough.
