Survived by his wife, Mary Ann Macaluso Hinshaw, Tickfaw; a son, Richard Bradley Hinshaw, Tickfaw; a daughter, Kristen Hinshaw, Tickfaw; parents, Robert C. and Satsuki Kato Hinshaw, Hammond; and two brothers, Ricky Hinshaw, Hammond, and Charles "Chucky" Hinshaw, Pumpkin Center. Preceded in death by his grandparents. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge): 4/22/2005 HINSHAW, ROBERT CARL "BOB" A resident of Hammond, he died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was 73, born Thursday, March 3, 1932, in Blackhawk Township, Iowa. He worked for the federal and state governments and retired from the U.S. military after 22 years of service and also retired from the Driver's License Bureau. He was a former ROTC leader at Southeastern Louisiana University. He is survived by his wife, Kay Hinshaw; two sons, Ricky Hinshaw and Chucky Hinshaw, both of Hammond; two daughters-in-law, Terri Hinshaw and Marlene Hinshaw, both of Hammond; a sister, Rita Booher, Branson, Mo.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norvel and Irene French Hinshaw; son, Richard "Dickie" Hinshaw; and sister, Mildred "Millie" Young. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, April 22. Religious service at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev.
