HINTZ, HENRY J. SR.
Ponchatoula - Henry J. Hintz Sr., 77, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2003.  A native
of New Orleans, he was a retired control room supervisor for New Orleans 
Public Service. He was a member of the 14th Ranger Division during the
Korean War.  He is survived by two sons, Henry Hintz Jr. and Mark Hintz,
both of Ponchatoula; two sisters, Ada Mae Hintz and Reine Hintz Goldfinger,
both of New Orleans; and two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by
his parents, Henry Nicholas Hintz and Ada Moran Hintz; his wife, Curtis
Fried Hintz; and a son, Kean Gerard Hintz.  Visitation will be Thursday at
Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, New Orleans, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday
from 10 a.m. until the funeral at noon. Burial will be at Greenwood
Cemetery.
