HLUBIN, THOMAS JOHN
Thomas John Hlubin, 77 years old of Tickfaw, LA., died Wednesday, August
16, 2006, in North Oaks Medical Center.  Thomas was born Monday, December
24, 1928, in Crucible, PA. He worked as a general foreman at Avondale Ship
Yard.  Surviving are wife of 56 years, Antoinette Misuraca Hlubin; son,
Michael Hlubin; daughter, Brenda Landry; grandchildren, Thomas John and
Heather Hlubin, Rebecca and Magen Landry; grandson and grandaughter-in-law,
Wayne and Tonya Landry; also survived by two great-grandchildren; brother,
Robert Hlubin; sister, Dorothy Filipovich.  He was preceded in death by
parents: Michael Frances and Elizabeth Hlubin; brother: Michael William
Hlubin.  Friends will be received Friday, August 18 at Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home in Hammond from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Services will be
held in the funeral home chapel Friday, August 18, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. with
Fr. John Restrepo officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. Louis #3
