HOLLIE, CHERYL CRANE 
A nursery worker in the agriculture industry, she died Monday, May 9, 2005,
at her home in Hammond. She was 46, born Wednesday, July 30, 1958, in
Covington. She is survived by her husband, Villard Hollie of Hammond;
sister, Winnie Laving of Albany; and brother, Richard Crane of Hammond. She
was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Vera Wilson Crane.
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m.
to 10 p.m. Tuesday, May 10. Visitation at the funeral home from 8 a.m.
Wednesday until service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Johnny Hernandez.
Burial in Springfield Cemetery.

HOLLIE, CHRISTINE MARIE LONG
Infant Christine Marie Long Hollie died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in
North Oaks Medical Center.  Surviving are parents, Carli Kristene Long and
Andrew Avery Hollie; sister, Kyrah Renee Hollie; grandparents, Gretchen and
Frank Laiche, Rena Williams and Gary Chatham.  She was preceded in death by
grandparents, Hilton Hollie Sr. and Reva Marie Long.  Graveside services
will be held at Sandhill Cemetery, Saturday, October 7, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.

HOLLIE, ELI V.
Independence - Eli V. "Benny" Hollie, 50, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001, at
Ochsner Medical Foundation, New Orleans.  He was a native of Ponchatoula. 
He is survived by his wife, Rita Sibley Hollie of Independence; two
daughters, Laurie Hollie Teel and Amanda Hollie Raiford, both of
Ponchatoula; two sons, Eli V. Hollie Jr. of Tangipahoa and Hank Hollie of
Ponchatoula; four stepdaughters, Julie Bennett, Erica Hollie, Sabrina
Hollie and Jessicca Hollie, all of Independence; four sisters, Terry
McDaniel, Sherlene Abbess and Jackie Randall, both of Ponchatoula, and
Linda Newman and Sandra Kaye Hollie, both of Hammond; one brother, Larry
Hollie of Ponchatoula; nine grandchildren and one step-grandchild. He was
preceded in death by his parents, Eli Lawrence and Ezzie Dykes Hollie; and
one brother, Lawrence Carlton Hollie. Visitation will be today at Geisler
Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 to 10 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until
the Rev. Glenn Prajean conducts the funeral at 11. Burial will be in
Mitchell Cemetery, Ponchatoula.

HOLLIE, HILTON LAVERNE SR. 
Ponchatoula - Hilton Laverne Hollie Sr., 51, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at
his home. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Hollie of Ponchatoula; two
sons, Andrew and Hilton Hollie Jr., both of Ponchatoula; one daughter,
Linsey Hollie of Ponchatoula; his mother, Dorothy Bryant of Independence;
three brothers, Wayne and Ricky Hollie, both of Ponchatoula, and Villard
Hollie of Hammond; four sisters, Gilda Moffet of Missouri, Judy Sturdivant
of Hammond, Jimmie Lou Brumfield of Albany and Ann LaRocca of Independence. 
He was preceded in death by his father, James Avery Hollie; one daughter,
Georgina Hollie; and three grandchildren. The Rev. Les Fogleman conducted
the funeral today at Wadesboro Baptist Church, Ponchatoula. Burial was in
Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula. Geisler Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, was is
in charge.
