HOLLINS, FLOVIEL
Folsom - Floviel Hollins, 75, died Monday, July 29, 2002. He is survived by
his wife, Shirley Hollins of Folsom; three sons, Floviel Hollins Jr. of
Richmond, Calif.; Gene Milton Hollins of Abita Springs and Keith L. Hollins
Sr. of Folsom; six daughters, Irma Lee Jackson of Greenville, Miss.; Connie
N. Williams of Roseland, Barbara H. Sims of Breaux Bridge, Renee Johnson of
Houston, LaJoyce Jacobs of Folsom and Belinda Hollins of Overland Park,
Kan.; one sister, Julia Harrell of Chicago; one brother, Joseph Hollins of
Benton Harbor, Mich.; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his father, Jerry Hollins; his mother, Emma Bridges
Pickens; one son, Michael Anthony Hollins; one brother, Glenn Butler; two
sisters, Willie Myrtle Leonard and Elouise Hookfin; and two brothers, Jerry
Hollins and R.S. Robson. Visitation will be Sunday at Richardson Funeral
Home, Amite, from 4 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be Monday at Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witness, Covington, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Big Zion
Cemetery, Roseland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parish
National Bank, Shirley A. Hollins Memorial Fund c/o Floviel Hollins.
