She was 70. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at St. Helena Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment in Amite Cemetery. Survived by husband, John Claude Holstead, Amite; two daughters and sons-in-law, Robin H. and Camile Currier, Monroe, and Sherry H. and Jeff Aycock, Hot Springs, Ark.; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Jennifer Holstead, Allen, Texas; a brother, Charles R. He was 84, a resident of Monroe and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served with the 452nd Air Service Group. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Monday, Feb. 11, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 am.
