HOSCH, MERLE
Baton Rouge -- Merle Olga Heitman Hosch, 86, died Friday, Mar 1, in Slidell
Memorial Hospital.  A private memorial service was held at Bethany Lutheran
Church of Slidell under the direction of Schoen Funeral Home of Slidell.
Mrs. Hosch was a member of Salem United Church of Christ for over 45 years.
Survivors are two daughters, Merle Braniff Fortson and Jean Boudreaux; and
three sisters, Elvira Heitman, and Ruth Duvic and Eunice Cotton of
Ponchatoula.  Mrs. Hosch was preceded in death by her parents, William and
Esther Heitman; her twin sister, Clara Heitman; and five brothers, Alex,
Horace, William, Arthur, and Henry Heitman.
