Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, LA HOTH, MARY LALA Mary Lala Hoth, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Landmark Nursing Home in Hammond. She was a native of New Orleans, lived most of her life in St. Bernard and a current resident of Live Oak Village in Hammond. Mary was very active in different womenÕs clubs; where she met many lifelong friends and will be remember for her lively personality. Mary leaves behind her 2 sons, Barry Hoth and wife Linda, Dan Hoth, along with her grandson, Nicholas Hoth and great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Hoth. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Boudin; brother, Ted Lala, as well as, nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly. Preceding Mary in death were her husband, Eddie Hoth; parents, Luke and Jennie Lala. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Deacon Nat Garofalo will officiate the services and a private burial will take place immediately following the services.
