She was a native of Livingston Parish; resident of Holden and a retired waitress. Survivors include her children, Gloria Cannon, Nancy Sibley, Joyce Wilkinson, Gracie Addison, Wallace Hoyt, Eugene Hoyt, and Charles Hoyt; step-son, Billy Henley; brothers, L. D. Hood and Johnny Hood; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Huey Clinton Hoyt; 2nd husband, Clyde Henley; children, L. D. Hoyt, Vernon Hoyt, and Vivian Hoyt; grandson, Wallace Daniel Hoyt; brother, Arthur Hood; sisters, Elmer Ballard and Inez Summerall; and parents, Lawson and Etta Lanier Hood. Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, Feb. 13 from 6 until 9 pm at Faith Apostolic Church in Holden. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday after 9 am until the religious service at 1 pm conducted by Rev. Carlin Sanders. Interment will follow in James Chapel Cemetery, Holden. Geisler Funeral Home of Albany in charge of arrangements.
