Doot passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the age of 86. Her pastime was making ceramics and crocheting. Few people experience a lifelong friendship as Doot had with her surviving best friend, Mrytle Gatlin. She is also survived by two nieces, Janice Rolling Amar and husband Edward, Debra Martens Parkmann and husband John; nephew, Edward "Butch" Rolling III and wife Anna Lett; great-nephews and nieces are Edward "Ted" Amar III, Travis R.
