He was born on Wednesday, March 30, 1949, in Ponchatoula. Surviving are his 3 daughters, Sasha Nichole H. Berthelot and husband Jerrod M., Alison Kae Hungate, and Georgette Elizabeth Hungate; son, Stanley Michael Ray Hebert; 2 sisters, Emmy Lou Hungate Trammell and Mary Ellen Hungate Boelhower; 2 brothers, Harry A. Hungate and Grady K. Hungate; and 6 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louise Haight and Harry Hungate; and daughter, Andrea Mary Louise Hungate. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 3, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. Interment will follow in the Wetmore Cemetery.
