She was born on Monday, March 4, 1918, in Tickfaw. Mrs. Imbraguglio was a member at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond. Surviving are her daughter, Gloria Imbraguglio Tisdale; granddaughter and husband, Lea Tisdale and Oscar Richerson; granddaughter and husband, Monica and Paul Sawyer; grandson and wife, Brett and Amy Tisdale; grandson, Brian Levy; six great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by her husband, Sam Imbraguglio; daughter, Katherine "Tinky" Imbraguglio Levy; son-in-law, Hezzie B. Tisdale; five brothers and three sisters. Relatives and friends will be received at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. He was born Oct. 30, 1913, in Natalbany and was a resident of Independence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in Germany. He was a 1934 graduate of Hammond High School and a 1936 graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. In December 1972, he moved back to Hammond and was owner of Tangi Water Co. He retired from the water company in August 1982. He was a lifelong member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Survived by his wife, Anita Lott Imbraguglio, Independence; a brother, Vincent Imbraguglio, New Orleans; and a sister, Sarah Bickford, Hammond. Preceded in death by his father, Liborio Anthony Imbraguglio; mother, Salvatrice Saia Imbraguglio; two sisters, Mary Imbraguglio Mixon and Josephine Imbraguglio Fratantion; two brothers, Sam Imbraguglio and Joseph Imbraguglio; first wife, Mary Louise Tucker Imbraguglio; and second wife, Evelyn Matthews Imbraguglio. He served on the Southeastern Louisiana University Athletic Board for five years, was the SLU Booster Club president for five years and was on the advisory board. He was a member of the SLU Hall of Fame and the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame. He was a former member of the Hammond Rotary Club. Mr. Imbraguglio, a native of Natalbany, was a resident of Metairie for many years and a resident of St. Rose for the past 21/2 years. A veteran of World War II, discharged with the rank of technical sergeant, U.S. Army Air Force, he attended Southeastern Louisiana University and St. Mary's of Texas and was a graduate of Soule Business College. He is survived by two daughters, Salvatrice Imbraguglio and Rose Marie I. Dufrechou; a son, Vincent A. Imbraguglio of Staten Island, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Mary Ann Boyle; and a sister, Sarah I. Bickford. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine I. Frantation and Mary I. Mixon; three brothers, Joseph, Peter and Sam Imbraguglio; and his parents, Salvatrice Saia Imbraguglio and Laborio A. Imbraguglio.
