IMES, HOWARD  

KENTWOOD - Howard Imes, 81, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at Hood Memorial 
Hospital in Amite. He was a native of Kentwood. Survivors include two sons, 
Willie Imes, Kentwood, and Harold J. Smith, Kentwood; and two grandchildren. 
Visitation will be at Sweet Home Baptist Church, Kentwood, Friday night from 
6 to 9.  The funeral will be at Sweet Home Baptist Church Saturday at noon 
and will be conducted by the Rev. Lee Allen Pines Jr. Burial will be in Hookfin-
Womack Cemetery, Kentwood. N.A. James Funeral Home Inc., Hammond, is in 
charge.
