He was a resident of the Tickfaw-Independence area all of his life. He ran a dairy in Independence with his brother, Joe. Funeral services were held Saturday from the Poole Funeral Home. Religious services followed at Mater Dolorosa church in Independence. Interment was in the cemetery at Independence.
