He was a native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Robert and a colonel with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Edwin Ingraham of Amarillo, Texas, and Douglas Michael Ingraham of St. Rose; two sisters, Margaret I. Pereira of Covington and Marie I. Jumel of Metairie; one brother, Frederick Ingraham of New Orleans; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. His parents, Joseph Sydney and Marie Antionette Horner Ingraham; one daughter, Gail Antionette I. O'Heeron; and four brothers, Charles, Henry, Robert Edward, William Andrew and Michael Richard Ingraham; preceded him in death. A memorial service will be Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Covington, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, 4015 Wilson Blvd., 10th Floor, Arlington, VA 22203-1952.
