Born Jan. 12, 1913, in Tangipahoa Parish, she was the oldest of seven siblings. For 64 years she was the loving wife of Charles Inzenga, who died in 1990. In their youth, they farmed strawberries in Tickfaw until moving to Baton Rouge in 1935, amidst the adversities of the Great Depression. She contributed much in her busy, productive 65 years as a Baton Rougean: 35 years as a dedicated civil servant with the Louisiana Department of Revenue; founding a successful nursery and landscape business in 1956, with husband Charlie and son-in-law, L.D. Kelleher Jr.; support for the community as an active member of many civic organizations, especially the Baton Rouge Garden Club; comfort to many as a devout Catholic, who worked tirelessly in support of the church; and an example for us all as a consummate homemaker, who somehow managed to be sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother as if it were the only thing she had to do. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday. Religious services at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Martin. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Survived by a daughter, Cammie Kelleher; a grandson, David Kelleher and wife Sheila; a granddaughter, Laurie K. Bailey and husband Ricky; four great-grandchildren, Adam Kelleher, Alicia Bailey, Aja Newman and Indja Cornwell; two sisters, Ann Schopfer and Margaret Spitale; two brothers John "Jr." Iverstine and wife Vickie and Hillary "Hill" Iverstine; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Joe (Rita) Iverstine; and numerous, treasured nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Inzenga; parents, John and Ethel Stafford Iverstine; and two brothers, Amile "Pete" and Joe "Pap" Iverstine. Pallbearers will be Rick Bailey, nephews Tony Ferrara, Jackie Iverstine, Hank Schopfer and Raymond Spitale, and L.D. Kelleher.
