IRBY, DAVID FOWLER 

SPRINGFIELD - David Fowler Irby, 91, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2002, at Heritage 
Manor Nursing Home. He was a native of Gretna. He is survived by two daughters, 
Judith Coates of Bogalusa and Sharon Murphy of Little Rock, Ark.; one son, David 
P. Irby of Springfield; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation 
will be Wednesday at Blood River Church of God in Springfield from 9 a.m. until the 
Rev. Jim Shaull conducts the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery. 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, is in charge.
