IRVING, CLARA 

ROSELAND - Clara Irving, 96, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at North Oaks 
Medical Center, Hammond. She was a native of Roseland. She is survived by 
one daughter, Levern Blevins of Roseland; four grandchildren and seven 
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in 
death by her parents, Edward Charles and Mary Irving; two sisters and two 
brothers. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Richardson Funeral 
Home, Amite. The Rev. Melvin Mabry will conduct the funeral Saturday at 2 
p.m. at Big Zion AME Zion Church, Roseland. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery.

IRVING, FELIX ESTEVAN, SR.
A resident of Morgan City, he died at 1:07 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008,
at Thibodaux Regional Medical following a long illness. He was 82, a native
of Amite and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, receiving the
Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon, the Victory and the American Area and Radio Award.
Visiting at Jones Funeral Home, Morgan City, on Saturday, May 3, from 
8 a.m. until funeral rite at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Chrispin F. Smith,
officiating. The East St. Mary Veteran Funeral Squad will perform at the
graveside service. Entombment in Morgan City Mausoleum. Preceded in death
by his wife and parents. Survived by his son, Felix II and spouse Betty
Irving, of Lawton, Okla.; daughter, Sharon Ann Irving, of Morgan City;
brother, Eugene Sr. and spouse Sylvia Irving, of Hammond; sister, Rubie Mae
Frazier, of Greensburg; uncle, Leroy "Brother" Tucker, of Amite; two aunts,
Helen T. Rankin, of New Orleans, and Jennie T. Morris, of Los Angeles; a
host of cousins, nieces, nephews, two grandchildren, a great-grandchild,
five godchildren and a close friend, Mozella Triggs, of Patterson.

IRVING, MARC  

INDEPENDENCE - Marc Irving, 35, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, in a hit and 
run accident on Cypress Street in Independence. He is survived by two sons, 
Damien and Mark Muse, both of Roseland; one sister, Joyce Anderson of 
Independence; three brothers, Anthony and Efrem Irving, both of Roseland, 
and Derrick Irving of Independence; his mother, Albertine Young of 
Independence; and a grandmother, Bernice Young of Independence. He was 
preceded in death by his father, Gerome Irving; one brother, Michael Irving; 
and his grandparents, Ralph and Alberto Irving. The Rev. Bobby Showers will 
conduct the funeral today at Rosevalley Baptist Church, Roseland, at 7 p.m. 
Dismissal will be Friday at 11 a.m., and burial will be in Big Zion 
Cemetery, Roseland. Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, is in charge.

HOUSTON - Michael G. Irving, 42, died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at his home. 
He was a native of Hammond. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Johnson of 
Hammond. The funeral is Saturday at 3 p.m. at N.A. James Funeral Home, 
Hammond, and burial will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.

Amite -- Wilbert M. Irving Jr., 82, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004 at Tangi
Pines Nursing Home.  He was a native of Roseland.  He was preceded in death
by his parents, Wilbert Irving Sr. and Dora C. Irving; five sisters, Ora
Bell Irving Williams, Lois E. Irving Perry, Irene A. Irving Watson Turner,
Gloria L. Irving and Leontyne Irving.  The Rev. John Mabry conducted the
funeral this morning at Big Zion AME Zion Church, and burial was in Big
Zion Cemetery.
