JACHENS,   CHRISTINE DANIEL   

A resident of Hammond for four years, she died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998, in Hammond. 
She was 74, a native of Franklinton and a former resident of Arabi for many years. 
Visiting at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 707 W. Dakota St., Hammond, 8 a.m. until religious 
services at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette. 
Survived by a sister, Thelma D. Cleveland, Hammond. Preceded in death by husband, 
Joseph Jachens; parents, John David and Maude Piggott Daniel; and two brothers, Alfred 
and J.M. Daniel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran 
Church, 707 W. Dakota St., Hammond LA 70401. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
