JACOBS, JAMES KENNETH 

James Kenneth Jacobs, 65, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at his home. He was 
a native of Portsmouth, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Grace Jacobs of 
Hammond; three daughters, J.J. and Frog Jacobs, both of Hammond, and Kat 
Jacobs of Slidell; one son, C.J. Jacobs of Husser; his father, James 
Colby Jacobs of Michigan; one sister, Judy Harmon of Michigan; 11 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 
two sons, Jason and Jahonna Shelton; and his mother, Midge Greenlee. 
Visitation will be Wednesday at Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, from 1 to 
3 p.m.

15 Dec 1933; p. 2, col. 3:  Miss Meeme Jacobs, 64, died in
Hammond, 13 Dec 1933.  Born in Patterson, LA; moved to Bewick as
a baby; came to Hammond 15 years ago.  Lived with her sister,
Mrs. Charles  Lohmann.
