Visitation at the funeral home chapel will be Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. Burial at Kedron Cemetery, Amite. Mrs. Jacobsen was the daughter of Dudley and LouElla Robertson Zachary, of Amite. She was retired from LSU Dental School and a former resident of Metairie and Mandeville. Preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Walter "Mac" McGee and Henry Jacobsen; and brother, Erwin Zachary. She was a longtime member of Metairie Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Mandeville. Survivors include her daughter, Luann Hines and husband Roger; sister, Loura Stevens; brother, Lester Zachary; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren with a sixth great- granddaughter due in February; and many nieces and nephews. She was a native of Ponchatoula and a former resident of Bedico.
