JANET, PATRICK P.
Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at home surrounded by 
his beloved family. He was 65 and a native of Mansura. He was a resident of 
Baton Rouge and served as an investment advisor. Visitation at Rabenhorst 
Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 5 p.m. to 
8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until 
funeral service at noon. Attending ministers are the Rev. Roger Sullivan, 
the Rev Joel Stockstill and Deacon Bob Furlow. Survived by wife and friend, 
Sue Furlow Janet; four children to whom he was devoted: a son, Donnie 
Gilmore, of Hammond; and daughters, JoAnna Janet, of Nashville, Tenn., 
Jennifer Janet and husband Sonny Rambin, and Jessica Janet and husband 
Jackie Brock, all of Shreveport; five grandchildren, Brittany, Lauren and 
Reagan Gilmore, Samuel Janet and Jack Brock; three great-grandchildren, 
Landon, Brenten and Preslie; and a brother, Errol Janet, of Baton Rouge. 
Pallbearers will be his best friend, Cedric Rabalais; partner, Bowen McRae; 
sons-in-law, Sonny Rambin and Jackie Brock; nephews, Ron, Steve and Clay 
Furlow; and son, Donnie Gilmore. Special appreciation to Dr. Anna Pou, Dr. 
Andrew McWhorter, Dr. Virginia Bringaze, Dr. Gerald Miletello, Mell 
Schexnaildre and Hospice of Baton Rouge. Memorial gifts may be made to 
Baton Rouge chapter of Compassionate Friends, 2932 Monterrey Blvd., Suite
