She was 66. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m to 12:15 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church, Tickfaw, at 1 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Errol Faust and the Rev. Edward Jelks. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by her husband, Russell Jelks, Tickfaw; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vaughn and Becky Jelks, Covington, and Rodney and Beth Jelks, Tickfaw; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Russell Sibley, Amite, and Linda and Leslie Bankston, Roseland; grandchildren Monette and David Cleveland, Gene and Summer Sibley, Emily Sibley, Maggie Sibley, Layton Bankston, Laura Bankston, Trey Jelks, Jessica Jelks, Amanda Jelks, Jamie Jelks, Adam White, Eric White and Patrick White; a great-granddaughter, Meredith Cleveland; a sister, Mildred Robertson Briggs, Tickfaw; a brother, Wesley J. Robertson Jr., Tickfaw; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Wesley James and Della Rogers Robertson. She was a member of Old Zion Hill Baptist Church.
