She was born March 17, 1924. The family requests that visitation be observed Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 8:30 a.m. until time of services at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday. Sept. 2, at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Richard Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Amy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Emory Cole Jennings, of Patterson; her son, Derrik Michael Jennings and his wife, Linda, of Patterson; her daughter, Patricia Vitter-Williams and her husband, Cary, of Ponchatoula; four grandchildren, Ashley Businelle and her husband, Paul, of Morgan City, Ryan Jennings and his wife Traci and Taylor Jennings and his wife, Lou, all of Patterson, and Loren Vitter, of Raleigh, N.C.; three stepgrandchildren, Kitty Hebert and her husband, Joseph, of Morgan City, Belinda Arnold and her husband, Greg, of Madison, Ala., and Gina Arnold and her husband, Jason, of Berwick; three great- grandchildren, Parker, Peyton, and Caleb Jennings; six stepgreat- grandchildren, Tyler Hebert, Kennedy Hebert, Jaci Arnold, Ryleigh Arnold, Luke Arnold, and Lexi Arnold; and her caretaker, Frankie Mae Ladday, of Patterson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lee Jennings; her father, Westley Francois Rogers; her mother, Flavia Gautreaux Rogers; her brother, Lloyd Anthony Rogers; and her sister, Ruby Rogers Comeaux. Mrs. Amy was a member of the Patterson Town Council where she served two four-year terms. She was the co-owner of Jennings Supermarket, a former HUD commissioner, former member of the Patterson Garden Club, a former member of the St. Joseph Choir and a member of the Patterson American Legion Auxiliary.
