She was born premature with a hole in her heart. She has been a remarkable person throughout her entire life. RebeccaÕs courageous 13 year long battle with Breast Cancer ended on Thursday morning. Her courage never wavered as she taught everyone she met the power of the will to live. Her greatest accomplishment in life was the birth of her two daughters and watching them grow into fine beautiful young women. She was motivated and determined to make a better life for her and her daughters. She went back to college to obtain an Associate Degree from Charity School of Nursing all the while working a full-time job, undergoing chemotherapy, and raising them on her own. Seven years ago, she met the love of her life, Donnie, and the two of them married three years later. In that union she gained two more wonderful children who she loved as her own. Rebecca loved nothing more than to help those in need. She treated everyone with the utmost respect and went above and beyond to provide for those who were less fortunate. Nursing was a very rewarding career for Rebecca. She took pride in caring for each of her patients as if they were her own family member. She enjoyed her career as a Hospice Nurse as her own personal struggles allowed her to truly relate to the needs of her patients. Her strength was an inspiration to all who knew her. Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Donald G. Jones and her loving children Shelbi A. Rayborn, Courtni B. Rayborn and her fianc/ Zachary, Megann E. Jones, and Bradlee M. Jones, her brother Gregory C. Hoffman Jr., his wife Sharon and her sisters Christine H. Ragas, her husband John; Suzanne H. Ruch, her husband Jerry. Sister-in-law Stephanie J. Walker, her husband Russell, her Parents-in-law Donald L. Jones and Brenda B. Jones, her aunt and uncle Dianne and Danny Cox, her nieces and nephews Chris, Rachel, William, Giuliana, Tara, Ashley, Ashley, Josh, Bobby, Gregory, Ashley, Jessica, Taylor, Alex, Christian, Katie. Great nieces and nephews Bryce, Taylor, Lane, Brayden, Sophia, Hunter, Scarlett, and a host of other family and friends. Rebecca will be reunited in heaven with her loving parents Gregory " Slick" C. Hoffman Sr. and Margie D. Hoffman, her grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and her inspiration, Roseanna Ragas Triche.
