KAUFMAN, JOHN
John Kaufman, 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002.  He is survived by his wife,
Louise Primus of Hammond; one daughter, Mary Nell Kaufman Harrell of
McComb, Miss.; four sons, John Kaufman Jr. of Kenner, Leonaro Kaufman of
Metairie, Rickey Kaufman of New Orleans and Michael Jackson Kaufman of
Hammond; three sisters, Christine Spears and Carrie Ford, both of Baton
Rouge, and Anna Collins and Sara Kaufman, both of New Orleans; numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
mother and father; three brothers, Maxamillion, Junius and Napoleon
Kaufman; and one sister. Visitation will be Tuesday at Richardson Funeral
Home, Hammond, from 10 a.m. until the Rev. J. L. Harrell conducts the
funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.
