He was a native of Leake County, Miss. Visitation was at First Baptist Church of Hammond from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the church from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Matthew Wolfarth. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Sonja Cross Kea, Hammond; two sons, Jeffery Scott Kea and Vincent Ray Kea, both of Hammond; two sisters, Rebecca Wallace and Sue Powers, both of Mississippi; and three grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Macy Mooney Kea; and a brother, Joe Ed Kea. He was owner and operator of Aire-Duct of Hammond, a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, a member of First Baptist Church of Hammond and Oak Knoll Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Balcony Fund of First Baptist Church of Hammond.
