He was 84, born on Friday, Feb. 29, 1924, in Norfield, Miss., to Tate Clyde Keen and Mary Claire Lilly Keen. Deacon Keen was a former member of Masonic Lodge Amite City 175 and Deacon Emeritus of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Hammond. He was a retired technician for South Central Bell. Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Kathron Bankston Keen; children, Randy, Brad and Mark Keen; stepchildren, Robin and Larry Lobell, and Martha Campbell; 17 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Don Keen; and three sisters, Hattie Hyde, Dora Goblowsky and Nelda McClendon.
