KENNON, HELEN (U.S. AIR FORCE RETIRED)
A resident of New Orleans for 21/2 years and a former resident of Jackson,
Miss., since 1964, she died Tuesday, June 20, 2000. She was 90 and a native
of Kentwood. She was the beloved daughter of the late George Atherton
Kennon Sr. and Golda Ellzey Kennon; sister of the late Susan "Sudie" Kennon
Johnson and George Atherton Kennon Jr.; and aunt of Alice Baird Johnson 
Munger, Karen K. Leggett and Beverly K. Eddy. Relatives and friends of the
family are invited to attend graveside services at Woodland Cemetery,
Kentwood, at 2 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
may be made to Woodland Hills Baptist Church, P.O. Box 4227, Jackson, MS
39296. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Covington, in charge of arrangements.
