KERN, CHARLES ALLEN JR.
A resident of Ponchatoula, he died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at New Iberia
Medical Center. He was 66 and a native of Jeanerette. Visiting at Harry
McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Ponchatoula, 8:30 a.m. until religious
services at 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. He is
survived by a daughter, Laura Kern Landry, New Iberia; two sons, Michael D. 
Kern and Robert D. Kern, both of Ponchatoula; five grandchildren; and two
sisters, Leslie Kern McGowen, Jeanerette, and Geraldine Kern Guyote, Morgan
City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Brunet Kern; parents,
Charles and Ester Kern; and a sister, Merceded Kern Trimble. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ponchatoula Youth Baseball.
