KERR, J. F.
The reading of a will by his attorney changed the funeral and burial plans
of the family of J. F. Kerr, who died March 29, at his home between Hammond
and Ponchatoula.  He was 82 and a member of the Presbyterian Church. 
Funeral notices had been displayed in Ponchatoula; his attorney in Salem,
OH upon reading the will discovered that he wished to be buried in his
native city of Salem.  The remains left Hammond Saturday accompanied by the
widow and other relatives and burial took place Monday in Salem.  He served
in France during World War 1 and was a member of the American Legion of
Hammond.  He leaves his widow and several relatives in Ponchatoula and
Hammond.
