KILLCREASE, JAMES
James "Jimmy" Killcrease, 56, and a resident of Pumpkin Center, passed away
on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Renita Killcrease;
mother, Effie Killcrease; children, Latricia, Robert and Michelle
Killcrease; five grandchildren; siblings, Samuel Killcrease and wife Sue,
Preston Killcrease and wife Cookie, Elva Dee Gatlin and husband Wally,
Wanda Joanne Garrett and husband Troy Sr., Myrtle Boone and Susan Follis;
along with numerous nieces, nephews and a very special aunt, Lillian
Street. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Killcrease;
brothers, Larry and Robert Killcrease; grandparents, Robert and Roberta
Buhler; Jim and Lula Carrol, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the religious
services at the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of
Hammond, on Friday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m. The family requests visiting hours
be observed at the chapel on Thursday, Dec. 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and
again on Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Rev. Arthur Ebey Jr. will
officiate the services. Interment will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
