KIRIAKOS, OLGA PAPADEMETRIU GEORGES
A native of Larrissa, Greece, she died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at her
residence in Hammond. She was 89. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home, Hammond, from 9 a.m. Friday until religious service at 11 a.m.,
conducted by the Rev. Anthony Stratis of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox
Cathedral. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery. Survived by a daughter and
son-in-law, Gloria and Robert Weatherly, Hammond; three granddaughters,
Nancy Martel, Slidell, Julie Cefalu, Baton Rouge, and Joanne Weatherly,
Hammond; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Antigone Papademetriu,
Larrissa. Preceded in death by her parents, Theofani and Athena
Papademetriu; first husband, John Georges; second husband, John Kiriakos;
and a brother, Angelo Papademetriu. She was a homemaker and seamstress.
