KIRSCH, JACOB FREDERICK, JR.
Jacob Frederick Kirsch, Jr., 70 years old of Ponchatoula, died Monday,
November 16, 2009, at his residence.  He was born on Wednesday, August 16,
1939, in New Orleans.  He was a retired fire fighter after 25 years of
service with the New Orleans Fire Department.  Mr. Kirsch was an avid
hunter and he was known to his family as "Dear Old Dad".  Surviving are his
wife, Patricia Kirsch; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Rebecca Kirsch and Scotty
Luther, Rachel Kirsch and Wayne Methvin, and Gretchen Kirsch and Frank
Cook; 7 grandchildren, Shelby and Savanna Luther, Trinity and Kirschten
Methvin, Melinda, Norman and Brittany Cook.  He is preceded in death by his
parents, Frieda Burg and Jacob Frederick Kirsch, Sr.; and brother, Edmund
J. Ezell.  Friends will be received at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home in Hammond, Friday, November 20, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Visitation will continue Saturday, November 21, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. until
the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill
Eubanks officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cypress Grove Cemetery

KIRSCH, LUCY MICHELLI    
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at her
residence. She was 86 and a native of Hammond. Visitation at Holy Ghost
Catholic Church, 601 N. Oak Street, Hammond, from 8 a.m. until religious
service at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery. She is
survived by three daughters, Rosalie Bamber and Mary Ann and Dolly
Fugarino, all of Baton Rouge; a son, Harry Basso and wife Donna of Denham
Springs; a longtime companion, Henry D. Damonte of Baton Rouge; a sister, 
Phine Petrancosta of Chicago; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and
two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and
Angelina Bataglia Michelli; six sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers
will be Anthony Fugarino Jr., Tommy Fugarino, Dwayne Basso, Joshua Basso,
Jesse Rotureau and Dustin Abshire. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Hammond, in charge of arrangements.

KIRSCH, PATRICIA MARIE FONSECA
Patricia Marie Fonseca Kirsch, 65 years old of Ponchatoula, died Wednesday, 
April 27, 2011, in Hammond Nursing Home.  She was born on Friday, May 18, 
1945, in New Orleans.  Surviving are her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, 
Rebecca Kirsch and Scotty Luther, Rachel Kirsch and Wayne Methvin, Gretchen 
Kirsch and Frank Cook; 7 grandchildren, Shelby and Savanna Luther, Trinity 
and Krischten Methvin, Melinda, Norman, and Brittany Cook; mother, Irene 
Rita Daigle Dibos; and 2 brothers, Gary Fonseca and Michael Fonseca.  She 
is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Frederick Kirsch Jr.; father, 
Wilfred Ashton Fonseca; sister, Barbara Flanagan.  Friends will be received 
at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Friday, April 29, 
2011, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.  Visitation will continue Saturday, 
April 30, 2011, from 8:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM in the 
funeral home chapel.  Interment will follow in the Cypress Grove Cemetery
