He was born on January 5, 1953 in Elmhurst, IL, the son of Ronald, Sr. and Betty Lou (Anderson) Kline of Lombard, Illinois. Ronald served honorably in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He later worked on tugboats harboring ships all along the east coast after which he worked as a mill operator in Albany, LA. Ronald is survived by his sister, Gail (Gary) Belsom of Lombard, Illinois; and brothers, Daniel of Marathon, WI, David (June) of Mauston, and Dennis, of Reedsburg; as well as a wealth of friends and Fellowships in the Hammond, LA and Reedsburg areas, most notably Dorothy Timberlake of Loranger, LA, who was primarily responsible for saving his life in 1998, and became his best friend and confidant, and also includes his generous employer and co-workers at Albany Woodworks in Louisiana. Ronald spent the last 10 months prior to hospice care with his brother in Reedsburg, where he quickly won the hearts and friendship of many local residents. During this time, he enjoyed visits to museums, zoos and parks as well as long walks with his latest best friends, Lily and Loki, his brotherâ his two German shepherd dogs who adopted and adored him. Memorial services will be held privately at a national cemetery in Illinois.
