She was 84 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lee Davide and Danny, of Rougon, and Ramona Roubique and Keith, of Watson; a son and daughter- in-law, Jesse Knapp and Patricia Mullen, of Lakeland; two sisters, Dorothy Sharon and Leanna McGee, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Allen David, of Brusly; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Sammy Webb, Billye Joe Baggett, Craft Dunaway, Mike Rumfola, Allen David and Todd Cannon. Honorary pallbearers are Benjamin Knapp and Danny Davide. Preceded in death by her husband, Jules Joseph Knapp; son, Morris Knapp; parents, Simon and Felice David; sister, Noelie David; and brothers, Huey and James David.
