KNUTSON, DOROTHY LEE MAYO PITTMAN
Dorothy Lee Mayo Pittman Knutson Nee Purvis, 70 years old of Independence,
died December 29, 2010, at her residence.  She was born on May 19, 1940, in 
Independence.  Surviving are her husband, Clyde E. Dupuy; son, Bill Ray 
Mayo; 2 daughters, Mary Alice Holifield Nee Mayo and Annie Beth Mayo; 4 
brothers, Burtis Ray "Ray", Ronald Wayne, Darrell, and Glen "Pete" Hull; 13 
grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her 
3 husbands, Holbrook Pittman, Tom Martin, and Don Knutson; daughter, Rose 
Lee Morris Nee Mayo; and one great-grandchild.  Friends will be received 
Tuesday, January 4, 2011, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 
11:00 AM at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.  Interment will 
follow in the Bankston Cemetery 4th Ward in Independence.  The family would 
like to give special thanks to Steve and Stacey Klienpeter, Steve "Pee Wee" 
and Jan Howell, Steve and Pam Bouregois and Generations Hospice.  An
