He was a native of Albany, a 1996 graduate of Albany High School and a corporal in the U.S. Army having served his country in Germany. He is survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Thompson of Natalbany and Anna M. Hernandez of Livingston; and two brothers, Michael A. Koleszar of Natalbany and Jimmy J. Koleszar of Amite. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew M. Koleszar; and his mother, Annie Kropog Koleszar. Visitation will be Thursday at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany from noon until the Rev. She was 77 and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Albany, American Legion Auxiliary Post 258 and the Albany Homemakers Club. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Zoltan "Kollie" Koleszar; daughter, Kathy Koleszar Foster; grandson, Seth Foster; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Amy Foster and Doug Bankston; and a great-grandson, Brock Bankston, all of Albany. She is also survived by two sisters, Mildred Maruschak, Baton Rouge, and Patsy Glascock, Albany. She will be sadly missed by her family and a host of friends. Visitation was at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003. Visitation at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Albany, from 8 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, conducted by the Rev. Joe Dunn, Dr. Rodney Sullivan and the Rev. Alton Foster.
