KOLWE, OSWALD B.
A retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Ponchatoula, he died Thursday,
April 6, 2000, at Hammond Nursing Home, Hammond. He was 72. Visitation at
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Ponchatoula, from 8:30 a.m. until
religious services at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Interment in Wetmore Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Elaine Bohning Kolwe, Ponchatoula; three sons, Mark
Kolwe, Amite, Chet Kolwe, Ponchatoula, and John Kolwe, Lafayette; a 
daughter, Kay Coon, Hattiesburg, Miss.; and 10 grandchildren. Preceded in
death by his parents, Oswald F. and Rosa Kupper Kolwe; and a sister, Marion
Hauff. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ponchatoula.
