KORNEGAY, ELANOR CASTLEBERRY 
Shreveport - Elanor Castleberry Kornegay, 90, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001,
at Live Oaks Retirement Home in Shreveport. She was native of Port Vincent
and a former resident of Hammond. She was a graduate of Southeastern
Louisiana University. While residing in Hammond, she was an active member
at First Methodist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Gwen K. Falbaum
of Shreveport; one son, Paul M. Kornegay Jr. of San Jose, Calif.; nine
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one
daughter, Paula Kozan. Visitation will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Geisler
Funeral Home, Hammond, until Edward R. Thomas conducts the funeral at 3.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
