AMITE - Jerry Joseph Kraemer Sr., 70, died Monday, July 21, 2003, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond, of liver cancer. A native of Carville, he was a roughneck in the oilfield and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife, Ardele F. Robinson Kraemer; three children, Elaine H. Kraemer, Randy P. Kraemer, and Caryn A. Kraemer; and two siblings, Hillary J. Kraemer and Richard J. Kraemer. His parents were the late Forest P. Kraemer Sr. and Mathilda Garcia Kraemer. Two sons, Jerry J. Kraemer Jr. and Gary L. Kraemer, and a brother, Forest P. Kraemer Jr., also preceded him in death. The funeral was today, and burial was in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington. E.J. Michael M. Kraemer, 43, formerly of Toronto, Ohio, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born Nov. 9, 1960, in Chicago. He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Cliff Haight of Toronto, and Barry Kraemer of Illinois. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Phyllis Howard of Independence, with whom he resided. He is also survived by two children, Adam and Shiloh Kennedy of Tennessee; two stepsons; four stepsisters, Rachel Scott and her husband Charles and Anne Marie Haight, all of Toronto, Jackie Polashuk of Owings Mills, Md., and Diane Kraemer of Illinois; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Kraemer; his grandmother, Margaret Howard; and a grandfather, Alden Howard. He was a volunteer minister with Jehovah's Witnesses, spending up to 70 hours per month in his preaching and teaching activity. He was an August graduate of The Pioneer Service School with curriculum designed to train volunteer ministers in the skills of teaching. She is survived by her daughters, Maxine Jenkins Hoover and her husband, Kenneth, Linda Kraemer Erdey and her husband, Rodney; her sons, Douglas Kraemer, Stanley Kraemer, and Steven "Stevie" Kraemer and his wife, Rhonda; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Jenkins; along with nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Max Jenkins and his daughter, Shannon; her husband, Mack Kraemer; her parents, Willie and Alice Woods; and her siblings, Pearl Woods Whitehead, Mabel Woods Berthelot, Sidney Woods and Scofield Woods.
