She was born on Wednesday, September 26, 1934, in Shreveport, Louisiana, was the daughter of the late Samuel and Florence Parker Daniel. She attended schools in Louisiana and graduated from Hammond High School. She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for 9 years. She moved to Dalton in 1973 with her husband who started work at Ordinance Systems for G.E. She was a member of Morning Star Chapter Number 217 O.E.S. Lee, MA and Past Matron Morning Star Chapter Number 217 several times, Deputy Grand Matron O.E.S. 1988-1989,. She was also Grand Esther O.E.S. 1993-1994. She is survived by her husband Percy Kuhn whom she married April 10, 1954, a daughter Susanne Howell, of Clarksville, TN, a grandson A. Daniel Pic, a sister Sharon Daniel Turnage and a brother in law Gary. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home from 9:00 am until funeral service begins at 11:00 am. Services will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hammond.
